CAMP WALTER JOHNSON

Camp Walter Johnson provides The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs and Community Centers across North and South Carolina a place for outdoor recreation and fun.  Camp Walter Johnson offers a unique opportunity to experience challenging activities that are fun, to meet new friends, and to develop independence.  This 300 acre facility is based in Denton North Carolina.  Camp Walter Johnson is an ACA, which meet government-recognized standards.  Every year Club members from around the Carolina come here to spend a week at camp.  Campers are encouraged to do their best in a positive environment that involves listening, sharing, trying their best and doing what is right.  Young people participate in activities such as; swimming, boating, fishing, archery, ropes course, riflerey, canoeing, and most of all activities that will bring them closer to Christ.  These camps challenge young people to set goals.  Click on one of the link below for a brochure or registration infromation.
