Welcome to the Home of The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs and Community Centers of North & South Carolina. Our goal is to provide every young person with the essential tools needed for a successful and bright future. Through out the Carolinas there are 18 different communities with 46 Chartered Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club Units, 5 communities with Salvation Army Community Centers, and 2 communities with after-school supplemental education programs. Every day, we strive to improve each young person's life by implementing self-esteem, courage, and positive values through all of the educational programs. Our youth come to the Clubs and Community Centers to receive tutoring, computer training, sports education, homework help, and mentoring. Our youth gain confidence by developing a sense of usefulness and belonging. The ultimate goal is to allow each young person the opportunity to know Christ as their personal Savior. Through our efforts in 2009 we served 15,452 members and approximately 17,000 other youth served, in Boys & Girls Club and Community Center high-yield learning activities.
